Why some people love JOMO
JOMO: “JOY OF MISSING OUT” also described as a feeling of pleasure you get from spending time doing what you want and not worrying about what other people are doing or saying.
Are you someone who likes to spend time by themselves or are you the opposite?
You don’t understand how people can spend so much time alone and enjoy it?
We are all different. We all can be introverted and extroverted. There is a common misconception, that people that have inclination to introversion are the quiet ones in the corner. Actually an introvert is someone who refills energy when they spend time alone. So if you have that friend that is quite ok to be alone, leave them, they need this in order to refill energy, rejuvenate and then they are good to go again and spend time with others.
On the other hand we think of loud people, that enjoy being the centre of attention as extroverted. Is often can be true, however it’s not a rule. Did you know that even the quiet person in the corner can be extroverted? Extroverts get their energy from being around people. They love the company and if they need to refill and rejuvenate, they seek out human interactions.
